When Libby & Brian reached out to me about photographing their wedding this upcoming Spring in the Smoky Mountains, it was an no brainer. A gorgeous spring wedding in a beautiful destination? I’m sold. What I didn’t know at the time was how sweet, authentic, and in love they are. If you’re a photographer, you already know that those three things take working with a couple from good to incredible. If you’re not a photographer, I am telling you now that being authentic, real, and just embracing your love for one another is going to take your experience working with a photographer and your photos to the next level. And that’s what everyone wants, right?
Libby found John’s Greenhouse in Kansas City and said that’s where she wanted a portion of their engagement photos done. Oh. My. Lord. It is a beautiful, lush, private greenhouse that is literally what dreams are made of. My photographer heart was SO full! We finished their session at The Nelson-Atkins Museum even though it was starting to rain a little, and we fully embraced the fall weather and short amount of time we had before the storm hit. I can’t wait for their stunning wedding in the spring!
